From atoms
to outcomes.
And back again.
It is early.
Intelligence is becoming cheap and abundant, and it is moving into every layer of how the world works: how we make materials, produce energy, write software, run factories and care for people.
It will rewrite the fabric of everything. It will also speed up science itself, and science is where the biggest leaps have always come from.
We are optimists about where this leads. The future gets better when people build it, and there has not been a better moment to build in decades.
Small at the base. Enormous at the top.
Each layer stands on the one below: matter into energy, energy into information, information into intelligence, intelligence into work, work into outcomes.
And every outcome flows back down and makes each layer better. Better tools make better science. Better science makes better tools.

Everything starts with atoms.
Silicon, copper, lithium, nitrogen, DNA. The largest companies in the world rest on a few breakthroughs about matter: how to purify silicon, how to turn nitrogen into fertilizer, how to read and edit genes, how to make new materials. One discovery at this layer can carry an economy for a century. Founders who master atoms build the ground the rest of the stack stands on.

Atoms become electrons.
Energy is the input to every future worth wanting. Cheaper, cleaner and more abundant power sets the speed limit for everything above it. The chips, photonics and qubits that put power to work decide how far each unit of energy goes.

Electrons become bits.
Software is how electricity learns to do useful work. It runs markets, moves money and connects billions of people. None of it holds unless it can be trusted, so security, identity and the rails for value belong in the stack from day one.

Bits become tokens.
A new unit has arrived. Tokens of intelligence, made in AI factories at industrial scale, turn computation into judgment. For the first time, reasoning is something we can manufacture, and every year it gets cheaper.

Tokens become work.
Intelligence counts when it acts. Agents take on the work of whole teams. Robots build, assemble, harvest and explore. This is where intelligence touches matter again and changes it, and where we learn to make hard things at home again.

Work becomes outcomes.
In the end, outcomes are what count. A disease cured. A material discovered. A child taught, a city powered, a scientist free to ask a bigger question. Intelligence is the means. What it makes possible is the point.
And outcomes become atoms again.
Every outcome returns to the start of the loop. AI designs new materials and new molecules. Better models help design better chips, and better chips train better models. A discovery in math, physics or biology creates value on its own and opens a new layer to build on.
The loop compounds, and each turn is faster than the last. We want to back the founders on every layer of it.
Tech-heavy, on purpose.
We back founders who build hard things. In tech-heavy companies, engineering is the product and the moat. Artificial intelligence and emerging technologies sit at the core, and often artificial intelligence is the catalyst that makes the rest possible now.
Most sit between two easier bets. Tech-enabled businesses are quick to start and hard to defend. Deep tech can spend a decade in the lab. Tech-heavy founders do real science and engineering and still see a path to market. When the science is ready, we go deep too. That is where a technical investor on the ground in Silicon Valley helps the most.
Founders turn the wheel.
None of this happens on its own. It happens because a few people decide to build something that looks impossible today. Our job is to find them early, back them with conviction and help them turn the wheel.
